WLAN/Cellular Phone Will Deliver Rich Content

MIAMI LAKES, Florida — Air Media Now! Inc., and Calypso Wireless Inc., successfully conducted their ASNAP wireless LAN to GSM/GPRS handoff. This technology will enable mobile subscribers to enjoy broadband connectivity in WLAN access zones.

Air Media Now stated that Calypso Wireless ASNAP technology will be commercially available through its retail partners in the coming months. Subscribers will use the ASNAP technology that is inside a WLAN card or mobile device. The result will enable users to have broadband access anywhere that local GSM/GPRS operators and Air Media Now have NowZones.

Additional coverage is secured through roaming agreements with existing WLAN hotspot providers. Through its NowZones, Air Media Now will offer its customers and roaming partners wireless access and broadband delivery of rich media content using the Calypso Wireless 802.11b ASNAP technology.

“The Company is optimistic about the coming months, not only do we have a technology that physically hands the packets from cellular to WLAN on the mobile device but our Wireless Collaborative Area Network will cross reference and cross correlate these many subscribers to ensure content fulfillment, credit and other tracking features,” said Joseph Sineno President of Air Media Now. “We are actively positioning ourselves as providing services for all WLAN users regardless of who they have chosen for their service provider.”

“The positive test results reflect the tremendous amount of effort, late nights and sacrifice the team has placed on getting our product ready for market,” said Carlos H. Mendoza Co-Chairman of Calypso Wireless. “We are looking forward to Air Media Now entering the market with our automatic switching technology.”
