Review: Jeff Timmons revitalizes ‘I Do (Cherish You)’ 98 Degrees ballad (Includes first-hand account)

Most impressive is the fact that his song (released in 1999) is 18 years old. “It flies by,” he admitted, referring to time. “It’s hard to imagine. I feel like I did when we had the song out, but a little less pressure these days. We’ve been established and have families and have continued our careers in different directions. We’re still on tour and the group is still doing things.”

His entire performance video may be seen here.

Timmons‘ vocals on “I Do (Cherish You)” were controlled, soothing and remarkable. He sang with minimal melisma. His live rendition of the 98 Degrees love ballad garnered an A rating, and it resonated well with the audience, as he brought them back to simpler times.
