Review: Country singer Dylan Scott triumphs on ‘Stripped’ album (Includes first-hand account)

His CD opens with his single “Crazy Over Me,” which features his rich and deep voice, and it is followed by the well-crafted ballad “My Girl.”

Give Me More” is a song that his female listeners will easily love, especially due to the heart and emotional that he pours in his vocal performance.

“Can’t Take Her Anywhere” is more mid-tempo and more commercial-sounding than the rest of his project. In it, the male narrator compares his female love interest as his celebrity that he simply can’t take anywhere without causing a scene.

His CD closes with the acoustic ballad “Beer Buddies,” which is quite impressive, and it has a traditional country vibe to it and an even neater melody, that is fun to sing along to.

The Verdict

Overall, this collection showcases Dylan Scott’s wide range as a country recording artist, proving that he deserves to become the next big male star. It earns a solid A.
