A veteran country music star, Gatlin will be joining Governor Mike Huckabee, as well as other special guests on the national television program this Saturday night, on December 23 at 8 p.m. EST, where he will be talking about his Christmas traditions and memories. This episode will also re-air on Sunday, December 24 at 8 p.m. EST, which coincides with Christmas Eve.
Throughout their career in the country music industry, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers are known for their signature harmonies, as well as their classic hits “All The Gold In California” and “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer To You).”
Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers won a Grammy award for “Best Country Song” for their 1976 breakthrough single “Broken Lady.” They have also been nominated for the Academy of Country Music (ACM) award for “Vocal Group of the Year” five times, and in 1979, Larry Gatlin was crowned “Top Male Vocalist of the Year” by the ACM.
The group of brothers have been nominated for multiple Country Music Association (CMA) awards. As a songwriter, Larry’s songs have been recorded by such iconic artists as Elvis Presley, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Barbra Streisand, Dottie West, Barry Gibb and Roy Orbison.
