Canadian music superstar Michael Bublé has a major reason to celebrate. He took home the 2023 Grammy Award for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” for “Higher.”
His critically-acclaimed “Higher” bested albums by such artists as Kelly Clarkson, Norah Jones, Pentatonix, and Diana Ross.
2023 Grammy winner
This marks Bublé’s fifth career Grammy win, and all of his previous wins are also in the “Traditional Pop Vocal Album” category.
On his win, he remarked, “Huge thank you to the incredible team who created this record with me. I honestly feel this is the best album I’ve ever made, making the recognition from the academy members that much more meaningful.”
“I feel honored to have been nominated alongside artists I admire and respect so deeply. Thank-you, it’s a dream come true! #GRAMMYs,” Bublé posted on his Instagram page following his Grammy win.
His “Higher” album earned a glowing review from Digital Journal.
2023 Juno Award nominee
Bublé has also been nominated for two 2023 Juno Awards, which will take place on March 13 at Rogers Place in Alberta, Canada. He scored two nods, where he is up for “Artist of the Year,” which is presented by SiriusXM Canada, and “Adult Contemporary Album of the Year” for “Higher.”
“Growing up in Canada, watching the Junos with my family was always a major event,” he acknowledged. “Every nomination has always felt so surreal. Many thanks to @thejunoawards for the nominations and for making a Burnaby kid’s dreams come true.”
