Chatting with Nick Tangorra: California trip and plans for 2016 (Includes interview)

Regarding his recent trip to California, Tangorra said, “California was such an amazing experience. My brother, Rafe, and I were able to work with such amazing producers, and we wrote incredible songs that came from the heart. This album, which we will be putting out relatively soon, really shows exactly who we are as artists and people. I think it was a really important journey for Rafe and I to go on.”

For 2016, Tangorra is planning on releasing his forthcoming studio album, and going back out on tour. “It is going to be a very busy year for us, but we want to be busy,” he said.

Tangorra’s New Year’s resolutions are to stop biting his nails. “I stopped, and now I have to learn to clip the nails,” he said, with a sweet laugh. “I want to keep working hard and to stay true to myself, and I have been doing that. I’m proud of myself.”

His brother, Rafe, who serves as his musical director and drummer, revealed that their goal is to continue putting out good music. Rafe’s hobbies include photography and videography and songwriting. “A lot of what Nick and I have been working on are new songs, and they are different, unique and original. That is where we want to go with our music and it’s going to be good,” Rafe said.
