Amanda Smith has a big reason to be proud. She has been nominated for the coveted 2017 award for "Female Vocalist of the Year" by the International Bluegrass Music Association.
Amanda Smith, who has won this prestigious IBMA award once in 2014, is nominated along five-time winner Dale Ann Bradley, as well as first-time nominees Brooke Aldridge, Sierra Hull and Molly Tuttle.
Smith's Unbound studio album, which was released last year, garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.
Amanda's husband, fellow bluegrass musician Kenny Smith, has been nominated again in the IBMA category for "Guitar Player of the Year," an award that he has won twice in his career, back in 1998 and 1999.
