NASA Television Provides Station Spacewalk Coverage

NASA Television will provide live coverage and commentary of the second spacewalk to be conducted by the
Expedition Five crew aboard the International Space Station early Monday, beginning at 12:30 a.m. EDT on
August 26.

Commentary will originate from the International Space Station flight control room at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, with available downlink television from cameras on the Station’s Canadarm2 robotic arm.

The six-hour spacewalk by Commander Valery Korzun and Flight Engineer Sergei Treschev will include the
change out of experiments measuring residue emitted from jet thrusters located on the Zvezda living
quarters module, refresh Japanese experiments measuring the effect of the space environment on a variety
of engineering materials and installation of hardware to facilitate ISS assembly spacewalks in the
future.

The first spacewalk of the expedition by Korzun and Flight Engineer Peggy Whitson on August 16 included
the installation of six micrometeoroid debris shields on Zvezda.

NASA TV can be found on GE-2, Transponder 9C, vertical polarization at 85 degrees West longitude, 3880
MHz, with audio at 6.8 MHz.
