Filmmaker Devin Graham, a bit of a celebrity on YouTube, has embarked on what he calls an epic road trip and has plans to throw a whole bunch of crazy parties.
The first, involving the aforementioned giant slingshot, had a clear presence from Mountain Dew, although Graham insists that it is not an advertisement. It’s hard to agree with him, though, considering the many shots seen of party-goers chugging the soft drink, along with several Mountain Dew hats and even a Mountain Dew-branded guitar.
Several brave slingshot-users even tried to chug Mountain Dew or eat pizza while moving (spoilers: it doesn’t work too well).
Graham is no stranger to creating crazy viral videos. At the end of February of this year, he created the “World’s most insane rope swing ever,” which had people swinging across a Utah canyon on a 400-foot-long rope.
That was in turn a sequel to his video “World’s longest rope swing,” the video which had him rise to internet fame.
