LOS ANGELES, CA, January 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Steve Brown is a new American author and a proud father with an inspiring storybook about softball for children ages 4 to 8. The title of his new children’s book is Sydney Plays Softball, a story that will introduce the ever-growing sport to children around the world. To kick off this book project, Steve launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on January 25, 2022, and is welcoming generous support and backing.
“Sydney Plays Softball is a book about a young girl who wonders why so many boys play baseball. Her father explains it’s because girls play a much harder sport called softball,” says the author. By introducing this children’s book to the Kickstarter community, the hope is that it will educate and inspire young women to pick up a glove and ball, even try out for a local softball team. Steve is offering various reward packages, from e-books, to signed copies as well as equipment and private lessons.
Backers from around the world can become a part of this project by making generous pledges and donations. Moreover, the goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of US $5,000, which will help cover the costs of illustration, design, editing, and printing.
