IMHO Reviews Shares Blinkist App Updates, Talks About Premium Subscription Sale

Aventura, Florida –

Blinkist, a popular book summary subscription service that was founded almost a decade ago, in 2012, has seen a lot of changes recently. IMHO Reviews article talks about new features that have been added to the platform and discusses the latest price changes.

Blinkist app has several thousands of “Blinks” – 15-minute long non-fiction book summaries in a form of audio or text. According to the article, the app’s goal is to make sure that even people who have busy lives and no time to read, are able to enjoy books and learn new information daily. The summaries are divided into 27 categories on a variety of topics, from parenting, psychology and eductation to science, marketing and business.

“Blinkist is one of the top audiobook apps. It gives me a daily dose of inspiration, enriches my knowledge, and keeps me motivated. It is also one of the most affordable book summary apps out there. For around $6 a month with the purchase of an annual subscription, I get unlimited access to the whole library of more than 5,000 titles. This is a great deal especially considering how much I learn every day,” said Anna Borisenko, the content manager of IMHO Reviews.

Recently, Blinkist also launched their highly anticipated Shortcasts, which are similar to book summaries, but for podcats. Blinkist collaborates with podcast creators and producers to build Shortcasts. Each episode lasts approximately 15 minutes and gathers key insights from the podcast. Shortcasts received high praise from Blinkist members.

“There are so many great podcasts these days, but I could never find 2-3 hours to listen to a single podcast. Now I just log into my Blinkist account on my way to work and go through at least two Shortcasts a day. It’s amazing how much information you can absorb in such a short time,” shared one user.

Some of the Shortcasts that are available on Blinkist right now include “The Happiness Lab” by a Yale professor Dr. Laurie Santos that talks about strategies on how to uncover happiness, “So Money” by a personal finance expert Farnoosh Torabi that shares money advice from some of the most successful entrepreneurs, and “Beyond The To-Do List” by Erik Fisher who discusses productivity strategies with his guests.

Shortcasts are available for all Premium Blinkist members at no additional cost. Along with Shortcasts, Blinkist now offers full-length audiobooks. Those need to be purchased separately, but Blinkist members get good deals and discounts on them.

IMHO Reviews article also talks about the Free Daily, which is a good option for those who want to use Blinkist for free. This is a feature that provides one free book summary a day, in both audio and text formats, for non-paying users who at no cost. The summary is selected each day randomly. Even though it’s a nice addition to the service, most users still prefer to purchase a premium membership as it gives more freedom when it comes to choosing which summaries to read.

“Right now, Blinkist is having a January sale that offers a 40% discount for new members on the yearly subscription. This subscription plan also comes with a 7-day free trial for anyone who wants to try the service before becoming a paying member. I think Blinkist membership is one of the most effective ways to kick-start the New Year and finally tackle your to-read-list. But don’t think of it as replacement for reading books, it’s more of a way to learn more information in a short period of time,” said Vitaliy Lano, the owner of IMHO Reviews.
