The collection, which is his third artist album, opens with “Swoosh,” which instantly lures the listener into this stunning musical effort by Nilsen. It is followed by the addicting “That One Night,” which will make the listener clap along to it. Prism showcases his wide range as an electronic musician.
“Hi There Radio (Been Too Long)” features the rich, velvet vocals on Mike James. “The Last Goodbye” featuring Matluck is equally refreshing and uplifting, which is worthy of the repeat button.
After the up-tempo and progressive “Simulator,” the 13-track CD closes with “Drowning,” featuring the crystalline voice of IDA, and the infectious “Nothing Here But Love,” where he saves the best track for last.

The Verdict
Overall, Prism by Orjan Nilsen is a magical electronic album. There are no filler songs on this CD, and every song on here has its own identity. There is something in it for everybody. Nilsen is one of the most underrated producers in contemporary trance music. Prism garners an A rating.
