Emmy award-winning actors Kristos Andrews and Karrueche Tran delivered extraordinary acting work in Season 7 of the hit digital drama series “The Bay.”

“The Bay” is created by showrunner Gregori J. Martin, who serves as a head writer, executive producer, and director. The seventh episode of Season 7 tilted “The Proposal” premiered today on Popstar! TV. These scenes were filmed on location in Puerto Rico.

It showcases Kristos Andrews playing both parts (twin brothers), the benevolent Pete Garrett and diabolical Adam Kenway. Andrews truly captures the conscience of the sadistic brother who is obsessed with his twin’s wife, Vivian (Karrueche Tran).

Once again, Andrews knocks it out of the ballpark as he layers his emotions well and displays the depth and range of his artistry as a storyteller. Gregori J. Martin proves to be a master provocateur.

This is Karrueche Tran like you’ve never seen her before: bold, unapologetic, and she does her best to hold her ground while Adam Kenway advances for her love and affection.

Both actors are able to nail dialogue-heavy scenes in a bedroom (where Vivian is held hostage) and they do so in a convincing, intimate, and authentic matter. The episode was continually surprising, exquisite, and we got to see Adam reveal a little more about himself to Vivian about what he did to her and Pete, and what his intentions are for her in the future.

In the summer of 2021, Andrews won the Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Drama Series” for playing both roles (Adam Kenway and Pete Garret), and his work in Season 7 is just as noteworthy.

Andrews is not afraid to be frank and vulnerable, and even with Adam, he is able to find the humanity in that nefarious character. By the end of this episode, viewers will be drenched in a wide spectrum of raw emotions (pleasure, pain, delusion, melancholy, and hope).

Just when one thought that he couldn’t get any better than Season 6, Kristos Andrews pulls off the crowning performance of his career.

Acting debut of Precious Mayes

This week, executive producer Precious Mayes made her impressive acting debut as Dr. Belinda Kenway, who was quite a revelation. It felt like watching “Indoor Boys,” and Precious Mayes was our Carolee Carmello, and that should be taken as a compliment.

The Verdict

Overall, Season 7 of “The Bay” is gloriously empowering. The entire cast is memorable (with gifted actors in their own right), and it is worth more than just a passing glance.
