Review: Chris Young exceptional on ‘I’m Comin’ Over’ single (Includes first-hand account)

It is no wonder that the song sits at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts for the week of November 28. Young co-wrote “I’m Comin’ Over” with fellow songwriters Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge, and it was released on his record label RCA Nashville.

“So I’m comin’ over, running every red light, to hell with the closure save it for another time, Try not to think about you, but it ain’t workin,’ Why put out a fire when it’s still burning,” Young sings.

His song’s music video, directed by David McClister, may be seen below on his YouTube channel.

Overall, Chris Young delivers on his radio single “I’m Comin’ Over.” He showcases his rich, baritone voice, and it has a neo-traditional vibe to it . “I’m Comin’ Over” garners an A rating, and it ranks as one of his best vocal performances to date along with “Lonely Eyes” and “Voices.”
