Review: Brantley Gilbert tugs at the heart on ‘One Hell of An Amen’ video (Includes first-hand account)

The songs sits at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts.

Gilbert co-wrote the single with songwriters Mike Dekle and Brian Davis. It is a track on his Just as I Am album, and one of its highlight tunes.

In his emotional music video, which was directed by Shane Drake, Gilbert pays homage to a fallen soldier, as well as a cancer victim, and it is dedicated to all of those that “have fought the good fight.”

The Verdict

Brantley Gilbert deserves to be saluted for a job well done on “One Hell of An Amen.” This is a song that will certainly move his fans and listeners. He sings with a lot of heart and showcases his vulnerability. “One Hell of An Amen” garners 5 out of 5 stars.
