On being a part of The Bay Season 6, he said, “It was cool. I’ve been friends with Gregori J. Martin for a long time, and he had asked me if I wanted to play a gay role, and I agreed. It is nice to see my character grow and be more emotional.”
He had nothing but kind words for his scene partner Eric Nelsen. “Eric Nelsen is such a natural,” he said. “I love working with him. He just comes in, and he is natural. He is fun to work with and he definitely ups your game. He is such a fantastic actor, and the more the public gets to know him, the more successful he is going to become.”
Wayne also spoke highly about The Bay co-star Erik Fellows. “Erik is fantastic,” he said. “We’ve known each other as acquaintances for years but we became friends when we did the show together. Erik is full of life.”
He shared that he enjoyed working with Ryan J Francis in Green Valley. “Ryan is awesome,” he admitted. “He is a gem and he is super-talented as a director as well. He has been in Oklahoma and he has done a commercial and two movies.”
For Wayne, it was a pleasure to work with photographer Brad Everett Young on his Dream Loud campaign, which works on preserving arts and music programs in schools. “Brad is great and an endearing human being. Whenever he calls, and I am available, I will help him out with anything he needs. He has worked so hard for charity for so long,” he said.
On the title of the current chapter of his life, he responded, “Entrepreneur.”
Wayne defined the word success as “getting to the point in life where you feel like you don’t want to have more.” “You trust the process and where you are going with it,” he said.
He concluded about The Bay Season 6, “I think it’s the best season by far. The season is like a roller coaster in the middle of a war. There is so much going on.”
