The changes are introduced on the Xbox Wire blog. There is nothing else new in the hardware line but the 1TB edition of the Xbox One offers double the storage of the base 500GB model along with a matte finish. Users are still able to connect an additional external USB 3.0 drive to expand that storage even more.
The revised Xbox One Wireless Controller now has a 3.5mm stereo headset jack in place of the 2.5mm one on the current model. This will make it much easier for gamers to connect their preferred headset to the controller as a $24.99 adapter was previously required to use the vast majority of headsets.

Audio quality has also been improved and the controller has an increased maximum volume. An additional silver and black camouflaged colour choice has been added alongside the standard full black.
The controller can now update its firmware wirelessly instead of requiring a USB connection to the console. Force feedback should be more uniform as the bumpers have been “fine-tuned” for increased consistency.

Finally, a new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 computers. It will enable you to use the Xbox One Wireless Controller with Windows 10 in the same way as on the console, supporting in-game chat and high-quality stereo audio. It will cost $24.99 or be available with a controller for $79.99.
The 1TB Xbox One will be available from June 16 in the U.S. and later this month elsewhere. It will cost $399.99. If you think that the original 500GB of storage will be sufficient for you then you may be pleased to learn that Microsoft has confirmed that the 500GB Xbox One will now have its price fixed at $349.99 as many retailers worldwide have already been offering it at that price for some time.
