Donald Trump did not kick a mother and baby out of rally

Trump said the people who created headlines such as ‘Trump throws baby out of arena’ were dishonest. He insisted he was joking when he said the baby had to leave. He added that everyone was having fun and everyone was smiling, but the media still said he threw a baby out. The businessman said the media knew they were lying.

Daniel Dale of the Toronto Star’s Washington Bureau said that the story was irresistible for people who look at Trump as cold and cruel, according to Dallas News. Dale was referring to the reports of Trump supposedly kicking out the mother. Dale added that the story was not true, and the mother had actually left when Trump started to say the mother and baby could leave. Dale was there and witnessed the whole thing.

The mother and child also came back to their seat a short time later. Since then, the mother had been identified as Devan Ebert, and she said the media blew the whole thing out of proportion. She said that she was agreement with Trump and she stands by the fact she was never kicked out of the rally by Trump.

Ebert said she left because it was the considerate thing to do. She added that it was obvious Trump was joking around, and she stood with police officers who were standing outside the auditorium. She said the officers were kind to her and then she went back to her seat after her baby had calmed down.

Trump’s actions were also described as a breath of fresh air by Ebert. She said she appreciated Trump’s graciousness during a time that is considered stressful. She added that she had a wonderful time at the rally.
