Celine Dion loses brother same week as husband René Angélil

Her brother, Daniel, was 59 years old and he suffered from brain, throat and tongue cancer. He was one of her 13 siblings.

Dion’s husband and manager, René, passed away two days earlier after a long battle with cancer. He died two days before his 74th birthday. They have three kids together.

Ever since this news, Celine’s live shows in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace have been cancelled until February 23.

Most recently, Celine covered Adele’s “Hello” in her Las Vegas concert.

Our condolences go out to Celine and her family during this difficult time.
