ShowStoppers, a firm that facilitates ‘pitch’ programs for start-ups, technical briefings, and analyst meetings, is co-hosting a digital streaming event where a range of start-ups can pitch and hen discussion the reactions with business influencers. The event takes place on February 15, 2022.
From a review of the different firms on offer, the new start-ups of interest include the selection below. Each is a digitally based company with involvement in the health or technology space.
BAX-U
The company is developing smart endoskeletal training apparel for golfers that corrects posture, enhances muscle power and mobility, and tracks swing performance and handicap.
LifeFilez
This is a platform for storing, organizing, managing and collaborating on life’s important documents and digital content, driving consumer choices, analyzing the missing pieces of a user’s life documents, adding planning and preparedness to the digital economy. This is a cloud-based subscription service.
Neuralert Technologies
The firm has developed the first non-invasive, wearable wristband device that automates stroke detection and immediately alerts medical services. This saves lives, reduces cost and spares millions of people from a life of disability.
Pattern Computer
This is an advanced mathematical computing system developed for the discovery of new patterns in high-order data. In just six years, driving discoveries in the top five cancer killers, aerospace manufacturing, and, most recently, a COVID rapid test that outperforms 400 of the best tests worldwide.
The aim is to help users to identify and categorise high dimensional, complex data sets (categorical, continuous and/or mixed data sets).
Trillion
The startup is a US developer and producer of green fuels that are up to 90 percent more effective in reducing engine pollution, and 15 percent more fuel efficient. Now entering sea-trial stage with one of the largest cruise lines.
The companies will be showcased at a digital event where ShowStoppers is partnering with K4SoCal, a region within Keiretsu Forum. The network has invested more than $1 billion into companies at seed, early-stage and late-stage statuses. The focus is with life science, healthcare and medical devices, consumer products, and environmental and emerging technologies.
