The AV Club surfaced the video by Youtuber GorgeousWig.
The video’s description is simple: “Without all the bullshit, you can watch a full episode of Family Feud in exactly 3 minutes.”
The video manages to incorporate the entire game in just under that length of time. Gone are the segments where host Steve Harvey cozies up with the competing families, the tense deliberations as the other family tries to steal all the points, every pause after Harvey announces an answer, and all the other parts of the show that aren’t strictly game-focused.
As expected, the game moves at a lightning pace, and definitely wouldn’t give viewers enough time to think of the best answers on their own (or, alternatively, cover their eyes when a contestant makes a really stupid response). Since the video went up on July 19, it has been viewed more than 300,000 times.
Steve Harvey became the host of Family Feud in 2010. Since his tenure began, Family Feud has become the second-most-watched syndicated daytime show, next to the unbeatable Judge Judy.
Perhaps looking to capitalize on the success of Family Feud in three minutes, GorgeousWig has condensed the first Transformers movie into a mere six minutes.
