Review: Hunter Hayes rocks the Today show, makes big announcement Special

On August 22, country star Hunter Hayes performed on the NBC Today Show's "Toyota Concert Series" at Rockefeller Plaza in New York, and he had the crowd with him every step of the way.

A Grammy-nominated and multi-talented country musician, Hayes made the announcement that he has been teasing his fans for so long to Today Show co-hosts Matt Lauer and Tamron Hall, about his headlining "Tattoo (Your Name)" tour.
Hayes was dressed in a black shirt and black pants, and he even sported a fake, henna-tattooed arm that he showed the hosts, in celebration of his latest single and Top 30 hit "Tattoo," which he also performed on stage for a rousing crowd. There were several henna artists going around the audience, inking his fans with the tour's logo. The majority of his fans had arrived there from the crack of dawn and earlier, to see him play live.
His three-song mini-concert was quite diverse, especially since it included the fun and upbeat "I Want Crazy," as well as his moving yet inspirational anti-bullying ballad "Invisible," which he had debuted at the Grammy awards ceremony earlier this year. All three singles resonated well with the Rockefeller Plaza crowd. It will only be a matter of time before Hayes starts selling out bigger arenas such as Nassau Coliseum and Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, New York, and perhaps even The Barclays Center in Brooklyn in the near future.
Hayes revealed that this tour is going to be different than anything he has ever done previously, and it will include active involvement from his dedicated fans.
His fall tour, which will be produced by AEG Live/The Messina Group, will commence on October 30 at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania, and it will be followed by a show at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, on October 31.
Hayes will be joined by his label-mates The Railers and he will be reunited with country duo Dan + Shay on this new tour.
