John Carvahlo Diniz, 58, was convicted just three days ago on felony charges of bringing a 16-year-old boy from Portugal back in 2002. He was due to be sentenced in July for:

transporting a minor with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity and enticement to travel to engage in unlawful sexual activity

This morning, Diniz's roommate found him dead, with no signs of foul play according to a local news report.

Dinez owned two homes in Portugal, where he met the teenage boy and coerced him to come back to the United States with him in exchange for sex. Dinez did molest the teen prior to bringing him to back. Once back in the states, the teen refused to have sex with Dinez and told an adult about being molested.

Although it took six years to prosecute the case, justice seemed to have been done.
