Canadian film, TV and stage icon to bring high style to third-annual
awards ceremony in Toronto
TORONTO, Oct. 18, 2011 /CNW/ - P&G Beauty & Grooming is set to celebrate
Canada's beauty and fashion industry as Kim Cattrall hosts the
third-annual P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards on Tuesday, November 1,
2011. Following a celebrated performance in her recent production of
Noël Coward's Private Lives, the multi-talented Canadian actress will return to the Toronto stage
to honour some of Canada's beauty, grooming and fashion editorial
content as well as top make-up artists, hair stylists, photographers
and models.
Now in its third year, the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards were launched in
Canada in 2009 to acknowledge excellence and promote talent in the
Canadian beauty, grooming and fashion industry. Specifically, the
awards recognize the exceptional editorial work that brings beauty,
grooming and fashion news to Canadian readers as well as top make-up
artists, hair stylists, photographers and models.
A record 230 submissions were received this year, representing a
formidable cross section of Canada's leading magazines, newspapers,

Beauty & Grooming Awards, recognizing the 2011 winners," says Esther
Benzie, Canadian Marketing Director, P&G Beauty & Grooming. "Canada
has an amazing pool of talent in the beauty and fashion industry; this
year we received a record number of entries and the submissions were
truly exceptional. What better way to celebrate them than with a
stylish Canadian star like Ms. Cattrall at the helm of the awards
ceremony."
An independent panel of influential Canadians - including beauty and
fashion industry insiders along with art and design experts - reviewed
and evaluated all entries, determining the three finalists and winner
