Hungarian-Croatian border closed to ‘illegal’ migrants: Hungary

The border between Hungary and Croatia has been closed to "illegal" migrants, the Hungarian government said early Saturday, with barbed wire fences being set up to seal the frontier.

"The 'green border' has been closed (to economic migrants) but you can still cross the border legally and seek asylum," government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs told AFP.
