Miami police officer under investigation for porn star past

WPLG reports Miami Police Department officer Sabine Raymonvil is the subject of an internal investigation after information emerged that the 30-year-old performed in adult films while employed as an officer. The station obtained copies of videos in which the eight-year MPD veteran has sex with porn producer Emerson Callum, who along with Lavont Flanders—a former Miami Beach police officer-turned cameraman—were convicted in 2012 of drugging and raping women who auditioned for roles in their films.

The New York Daily News reports Raymonvil has admitted to acting in X-rated films, but claims she worked in adult entertainment before joining the Miami Police Department, which does not have any rules specifically prohibiting officers from such activity.

“I never made porn while I was a police officer,” she told WPLG but declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation.

According to WPTV, Raymonvil’s pornographic past could be considered a violation of department policy regarding ‘conduct unbecoming of an officer.’

Raymonvil isn’t the first South Florida police officer with an X-rated past. In the 1990s, Mike Verdugo starred in a bondage video before becoming a Hollywood police officer. Verdugo was fired from his job in 2010 for failing to disclose all of his past employment.
