The "settlers" of the Israeli town of Sderot, built on the ruins of the Arab town of Najd, "ethnically cleansed" by Israeli terrorists in May of 1948 (before any war) were pissed off because the Hamas rockets, which have caused no casualties in over a year, made it difficult to take showers. This child lost his hands, and his community has lost hundreds of innocent civilians, because of that sort of selfishness.
There is no reason for Israelis to be anywhere in range of the crude rockets from Gaza, they are only there as a demonstration to the Palestinians that they can do anything that they like and get away with is. UN Resolution 194 specifically states that the Palestinians have the right of return to the land stolen by the Israelis
Israel is harming children like this so that they can keep the Palestinians "radicalized," and unwilling to engage in peace talks. That way they do not have to give back the land that they stole in 1967. The world needs to put a stop to Israeli racism and the oppression of their captives.
