article imageReview: Sharon & Bram release nostalgic 'Sharon & Bram and Friends' album Special

By Markos Papadatos     Nov 12, 2019 in Music
Sharon & Bram released their impressive new children's music album "Sharon & Bram and Friends." Digital Journal has the scoop.
Their CD opens with "Everybody Talks" and it is followed by "The Colour Song," featuring Colin Mochrie, where they do a solid job teaching children the different colors. "Old Coat" is witty and fun, while "The Hug Song" is uplifting and heartfelt. "The Drum Song" is a great song about musical instruments.
"Different" is the ideal song to help teach children about diversity. After "Sharon & Bram’s Colour Song," Jim Cuddy joins them on "Talk About Peace" and it closes with an updated, refreshing version of their smash hit "Skinnamarinky" entitled "Skinnamarinky Two," which is filled with nostalgia.
Sharon & Bram and Friends is available on Apple Music and on Amazon Music.
The Verdict
Overall, Sharon & Bram's Sharon & Bram and Friends is entertaining and a great deal of fun. It is the quintessential album to sing along with the preschool audience. It is a neat way to introduce the younger generation to their music. This collection is a must for anybody that enjoys high-quality children music and this CD garners an A rating.
