Austin C. Rick accused Webster, the president and CEO of Webster and Associates Public Relations, for “coercing him into performing sexual acts.” According to Taste of Country, his allegations against Webster involved intimidation, sexual harassment, as well as repeated sexual assaults (and noted that Webster drugged and assaulted him).
Webster’s PR client roster included the following heavyweight names: Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Kid Rock and Charlie Daniels, among countless others.
Ever since Rick broke his silence as part of the #MeToo movement, multiple other former employees and interns that worked for Webster at the time, opened up to the media and the press about their own experiences of a “toxic” workplace environment at Webster and Associates Public Relations, which included multiple instances of bullying, belittling, assault and sexual harassment.
In his interview with Fox News this past Monday, Austin C. Rick announced that the title of his book is Surviving Possession: Inside Kirt Webster’s Twisted Toy Chest.
