Review: Michael Grandinetti saws himself in half on ‘Masters of Illusion’ (Includes first-hand account)

Grandinetti was able to put his own twist to the classic “sawing in half” magic trick, where instead of sawing off one of his assistants, he single-handedly sawed himself in half, which was an impressive spectacle to see.

The Verdict

It is great to see Michael Grandinetti back on Masters of Illusion with new grand illusion demonstrations. Earlier this year, he was named the “One to Watch in Magic” by Digital Journal, and rightfully so. His talent is too huge to be ignored, and for anybody who has any doubts, all they need to do is see him in the live setting. His “sawing in half” demonstration garnered an A rating.
