Review: Adam Lambert nails ‘Girl Crush’ on ‘CMT Artists of the Year’

Lambert’s entire performance of “Girl Crush” may be seen on the official CMT website by clicking here. Midway through the song, he was joined by British songstress Leona Lewis (best known for the song “Bleeding Love”), and they harmonized well together. The control Lambert maintains over his tenor voice is incredible.

His version of “Girl Crush” was well-received by the audience at the CMT special, and by the members of the country group Little Big Town, as they were in the audience in attendance. It was certainly one of the highlight performances of the event, and knowing Lambert, one could not expect anything less. His performance garnered an A rating.
