Adele spends 8th week at No. 1 on Billboard charts with ‘Hello’

As a result, the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 2016 begin with Adele coming in at No. 1 with “Hello,” for the week ending January 2.

Her latest studio album, 25, was ranked by Digital Journal as one of the Top 5 best female albums of 2015. It has sold over five million copies in three weeks, as previously reported, and the British songstress continues to break new records each week thanks to the commercial success of her newest studio effort.
