CARY, NC, August 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — AVCON Inc., a Cary-based audio visual systems integration firm, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Frank Yarborough, President, started the company in 1997, which has grown to be recognized by its peers as an industry leader in North Carolina and surrounding states.
“It was amazing to see God putting people in my life and along my path that helped me move to the next step or the next rung of the ladder to get to 25 years,” said Yarborough regarding this milestone.
AVCON has been able to thrive despite the challenge of a constantly changing industry.
“I’ve seen us adapt to the changes and to the market and the economy,” said Nathan LePere, Engineering Manager. “Through all that, we’ve had a thread of being committed to our customers’ success, paying attention to what the changing needs are in the marketplace, and adapting our processes to that. I think we continue to do that today.”
Yarborough attributes much of the company’s success to the long-term relationships he and his team have built with their clients.
“I wanted to start a company where people could trust me and trust my organization to take care of them,” he said. “From a values standpoint, that has been the thrust of the business since day one.”
AVCON designs, builds, and services AV and lighting solutions for corporations, houses of worship, schools, stadiums, performing arts centers, medical facilities, and more.
Notable projects in the Triangle include Captrust, Highwoods Properties, Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, WakeMed Soccer Park, and Koka Booth Amphitheater.
Director of Operations Nick Sennert considers the talent and quality of the team the best in the state. “Our desire has been to grow the organization to be the finest team that we could put together,” he said.
