Stockton Tree Experts Buys Its First Hydraulic Spade

Stockton, California – A company that has always worked hard to reduce tree removals in Stockton, Stockton Tree Experts has taken yet another vital step. Earlier today, the company acquired its first hydraulic spade in a move to reduce tree removals and increase tree transplanting procedures.

The company has reportedly been waiting for the hydraulic spade to be shipped from outside the US. When the piece of equipment arrived on the company’s grounds, the CEO could not hold back his happiness.

When Stockton Tree Experts was established more than 25 years ago,” said the CEO, “the goal was on keeping the trees in the city alive. However, recently properties have been changing hands too much. And when someone purchases a new property, the first thing on his or her mind is to change the appearance of the landscape.”

The CEO noted that the number of tree removals in the city had started going up. Homeowners would call the company’s office requesting a tree removal procedure just because they did not like the appearance a specific tree gave their landscape.

In one week,” said the CEO, “Stockton Tree Experts could remove more than 20 trees from different homes distributed all over Stockton. Continuing at this pace could have meant that the company would be removing more than 1,000 trees every year. This was not ideal.”

The CEO noted that currently, the city of Stockton has not reached the peak urban forest cover. He added that entertaining tree removals would just keep the company reducing a tree cover that needed to be increased.

Homeowners need to be planting trees and not removing them,” said the Stockton Tree Experts CEO. “However, the appearance of their landscapes when they purchase new homes in this city is triggering the opposite effect—the homeowners want to remove trees to create room for property development projects, to get a better view of their surroundings, and much more.”

When the company reportedly sat down last year, its team of tree cutting professionals came up with the idea of transplanting trees instead of killing them with tree removal.

Most of the homeowners who request tree removal always have enough room for more trees,” said the Stockton Tree Experts CEO. “The company thought that it would be a good idea to suggest moving the tree from one location to the other instead of removing it. This would improve the landscape without killing one more tree.”

The CEO noted that before the company could initiate the transplanting procedure, Stockton Tree Experts had to get the necessary tools.

While transplanting young trees has always been easy,” said the CEO, “transplanting mature trees has never been easy. The trees usually have roots that are spread wide and deep. To give these mature trees the best chance at survival, the company has to ensure roots are removed carefully and safely without damaging them. While some damage is to be expected, excessive damage could mean the tree will end up dying after transplanting.”

After lifting the trees from the ground,” said the CEO, “the next step would involve digging a hole big enough to accommodate this tree together with its roots. This is where the hydraulic spade comes in.”

The CEO noted that the company would use the new hydraulic spade to dig the holes for the transplanted trees. He also added that his company already owns a tool that will allow its team of tree cutting professionals to lift mature trees out of the ground safely.
