Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Squickmon’s Engineering and Automation opened its doors in 2013, selling first-generation Maverick Series plasma cutting tables. Over the next ten years, the company has significantly expanded its inventory to meet the needs of a variety of individuals and businesses, from hobbyists to light industrial manufacturing. The newest addition, the Elihu HD plasma cutting table, will further expand Squickmon’s inventory to include tables capable of cutting thicker metal plates and efficiently completing heavy-duty projects.

Founded with a vision to keep costs down for their customers while delivering highly-capable machinery, Squickmon’s takes a novel approach to designing and engineering its CNC plasma systems. Without proprietary components, its systems are universal and modular, making them easy to upgrade and cost-effective to own and maintain. They stand behind their systems with an industry-leading five-year warranty.

The new Elihu HD series, available in three sizes, will be no exception. “We are proud to offer our customers some of the most reliable and capable plasma cutting tables on the market,” said Simon Patterson, Owner and Founder of Squickmon’s Engineering and Automation. “By adding the Elihu HD tables to our line-up, we are helping to meet the needs of our customers by offering them more powerful equipment that will be both reliable and budget-friendly.”

In addition to the capabilities standard on other plasma cutting tables sold by Squickmon’s, the Elihu HD will boast the following additional features:

  • Ability to cut metal plates up to two inches thick
  • Black oxide coated and hardened rack and pinion gearing
  • Servo motor options for high production
  • 15,000-pound loading capacity
  • Material loading assistance
  • Optional air bladder system, almost tripling the volume of the upper bed
  • Collision avoidance programming
  • True shape and grid nesting
  • Automatic image vectorization

“For the past ten years, we have provided our customers with some of the best equipment that the market has to offer,” remarked Patterson, “and we are excited to introduce the Elihu HD CNC plasma cutting table with all its new capabilities to our customers. But, the innovation doesn’t stop there. We plan to bring a high definition plasma cutting table to market that will further expand what our customers can do with Squickmon’s equipment.”

Designed and fabricated in the United States, Squickmon’s plasma cutting tables are built to the highest standards of quality. To learn more about the new Elihu HD plasma cutting table sold by Squickmon’s Engineering & Automation, call (877) 916-7477 or visit www.squickmons.com.
