The concept of a belt-driven bike first came out in the late 19th century. The rubber belt rides quieter, smoother, and needs less maintenance than a traditional metal chain.
“When the concept first jump into my mind, I thought it would be a great idea to put it on a kid’s bike. A smooth ride, high efficiency, and low maintenance would surely be loved by both kids and their parents,” said Marvin, the chief designer of Belsize.
New Era
