How to prevent traumas during home workouts

Rodrigues Ave Cupertino, CA USA — The latest statistics say that every 8 people out of 10 who at least once in their life do workout had a trauma because of the wrong technique.

Once it came to online fitness the risk of getting some injury is even higher. In the past, the only way to get feedback about the technique was from a coach. Personal training or small group workouts where the attention of the coach is enough to help everyone to correct mistakes of execution. And how many people start home workouts since the COVID-19 started? Does any of them receive quality feedback about the technique? Only a few people had a coach right next to them.

But what to do if you don’t have a coach next to you? And what should do the coach if it is a group workout with a bunch of people? This is a problem that continues to lead to traumas during workouts.

More than 5000 coaches during the research agreed that for them it is a huge block factor to give quality feedback during the online workout. Even when at the workout just 3 people, it is already a very hard thing to give feedback to everyone. And because of this problem, lots of coaches can not grow their client’s list and scale the business.

“As a professional sportsman I know that the right execution is about the effectiveness of training, reaching goals faster and what is most important – it is about saving the body from future traumas. This is the main reason why we create the technology thatallows giving quality service online. Because every client will receive feedback and recommendations about the correct execution,”– says Anna Stepura, CEO and Co-founder of AiSport.

The team from Ukraine has created the technology which recognizes human body activities, counts repetitions, and corrects the mistakes of the technique while the person is training. The ai-based solution reduces the risk of getting traumas for everyone who uses it.

“From the technology perspective, we can recognize human body position and motion in real-time for further comparison with the ground truth coach’s execution. Based on this we’re performing activity recognition, repetition counting, and pattern matching for providing users with qualified feedback and recommendations. All you need is just a camera on your mobile phone or laptop.” – says Dariia Hordiiuk, CTO and Co-founder of AiSport.

AiSport is easy to use and safe for health. Just the understanding that everything is in two clicks all set makes this application so simple, but useful.
