Fine Art Shippers to Support Platform 101 New Video Art Exhibition

The NYC-based art shipping company Fine Art Shippers has become an official promotional sponsor of a new group video art exhibition by Platform 101.

Fine Art Shippers has become an official promotional sponsor of a new group video art exhibition titled “Glitch: Aesthetic of the Pixels” by Platform 101. The notable art logistics company is proud to support Platform 101, an independent, non-profit art institution known for its exploration and popularization of digital arts. The glitch video art exhibition features works by 27 Iranian and international artists. It runs at Pejman Foundation: Kandovan in Tehran, Iran, through November 12, 2021.

Platform 101 is holding its third international group exhibition titled “Glitch: Aesthetic of the Pixels.” Curated by Mohammad Ali Famori, the exhibition features 27 glitch artists, each representing different forms of glitch video art. Together with The Holy Art, Fine Art Shippers has become a media sponsor of this innovative art show. The event is organized with the support of Art Researcher, Famori Studio, and Aleph Team.

The mission of the glitch video art exhibition is to establish a firm foundation of new art media and digital arts. By exhibiting and supporting works by talented artists, Platform 101 is broadening the knowledge of glitch art among the ordinary population and seasoned art collectors alike. Never before in the history of art have pixels been given so much attention. Pixels now represent a full-fledged art medium with its own aesthetic elements and complex visual language. To introduce the value and nature of pixels, glitch artists have redefined the pixel language and given it a new meaning.

The Vol.03 glitch video art exhibition focuses exclusively on black and white arts. Such a limitation allowed artists to reach the essence and understanding of glitch to its smallest element – a pixel. The exhibition is based on the objective approach and formalism of pixel language, as well as its symbolic and conceptual implications. Incomplete images, audio noises, and intertwined lines of video help visitors decode the language and enjoy the show.

“Glitch: Aesthetic of the Pixels” features 27 international video artists from Iran, Brazil, USA, Ukraine, Portugal, Hungary, Azerbaijan, UK, and Singapore. These include Arezou Ramezani, Abarca, Arash Masoom, Chris Kore, Aqeaq Afkhami, Franco Palioff, Hernando Urrutia, Mohammad Ali Famori, Mohammad Abdollahzadeh, Ramin Saeidian, Parnian Donyari, Reza Famori, Sabato Vissconti, Shahab Shahali, Yannet Vilela Medina, and many more.

Fine Art Shippers has become a promotional partner of the event to support the development and dissemination of innovative glitch art. “Glitch: Aesthetic of the Pixels” is on view at Pejman Foundation: Kandovan in Tehran, Iran, through November 12, 2021.
