Founded in 1991, Cohen Laser and Vision Center (CLVC) has been providing residents of Florida with state-of-the-art eye care services for over 30 years. From LASIK vision correction surgery, to treatment for glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye-related issues, CLVC’s patients have come to depend on the family-run practice for caring, safe, and effective eye care procedures.
CLVC has welcomed Dr. Chad M. Kaplan, one of Florida’s premier cataract and glaucoma surgery specialist to join their team. Dr. Kaplan received his medical degree and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida where he served as Chief Resident as well as Chairman of the Resident Graduate Medical Education Committee. Dr. Kaplan then moved to New York City for a Surgical Glaucoma Fellowship at Columbia University. During his time in New York City, he was an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Columbia University and an Associate Professor at New York University. Dr. Kaplan was honored by being responsible for medical and surgical education for ophthalmology resident doctors.
Dr. Kaplan is a member of the Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society, the American Glaucoma Society, the New York Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
