CFY, historically known as “Clearwater For Youth”, has recently updated branding including a new promotional video highlighting the organization’s mission: elevating the youth of Pinellas County through access to athletics and other skill building programs where children from all backgrounds can learn, play, and grow together.

The sub-3 minute video, filmed and produced by local digital marketing agency, Advluence, features members of CFY’s Board of Trustees and benefactors of CFY’s Grant Program, who offer perspectives on the organization’s mission and impact.
CFY was founded in 1972 as an organizer of youth athletic programs, including activities of disciplines ranging from gymnastics, to swimming, football, soccer, and more. A unique organization at the time, CFY’s founders brought light to the importance of providing access to such programs for children, garnering community support to ensure economics would not restrict the participation of any child.
In the decades to come, as more recreational youth organizations specializing in various sports emerged, CFY made the shift from programmer to funder and facilitator, as it currently stands.
In 2020, the organziation began the rebranding process, revealing a new logo and color scheme. As the transition to support groups throughout Pinellas County rather than the historic activity bound by Clearwater’s city limits solidified, the “CFY” logo and accompanying gold star became the primary representation for the organization.
The latest brand revisions include a refreshed website and mission video underlining CFY’s defining tagline: serving the youth of Pinellas County.
