Owner of the largest independently owned chain of tire shops in Utah, Burt Brothers Tire & Service strives to develop and maintain trusting relationships with the people they serve. Treating every customer like a member of the family is an integral part of everything they do. Winning Tire Review’s Top Shop Award recognizes their outstanding customer service and their creative marketing strategies, community service, and adoption of digital technologies that add to customer convenience.

In its 15th year, the Top Shop Award recognizes independent tire dealers who exemplify the values and characteristics of a top company. Businesses may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Winners are selected by an independent panel from a pool of dozens of nominees and revealed at the Top Shop Event in Nashville, TN.

Winners also receive a complimentary piece of Coats tire equipment for their shop and will be featured in an upcoming issue of Tire Review. Co-owners Jason and Jake Burt were in attendance at the event to receive the award on behalf of the rest of the management team at Burt Brothers consisting of brother Jeremy Burt and cousins Brandon and Cory Burt.

The Burt brothers learned early about running a business and serving customers sweeping the floors and running the registers in their dad’s tire shop. “We know that at some point motorists in Cottonwood will need a reliable auto repair shop,” said Jake Burt. “If we take the time to serve the community and build trusting relationships, we will become the shop they rely on, the one that they recommend to neighbors and friends.”

At Burt Brothers Tire & Service, winning customers goes beyond changing tires and servicing brakes. Their past community outreach efforts have included a grand opening at their Draper store with rally car driver Ken Block and yearly participation in the Angel Tree program since 2014. Giving back to the community is just one way they enhance the lives of their customers.

“Our business model can be summed up in our motto, ‘Doing it Better,’” remarked Burt. “We could be the best tire shop in Utah, but we want to do more than that. We want to make auto repair and service easier for the customer — easier on their wallets with our low-price guarantee, easier on their time with our online scheduling, and easier on their minds with our dependable ASE-certified technicians.”
