Veteran actor Andrew McCarthy released his brand new travel book, the inspirational “Walking with Sam.”

In this compelling book, McCarthy walks 500 miles across Spain’s Camino de Santiago with his eldest son Sam. This narrative is intimate, witty, engaging, and poignant.

It makes the reader see things from the perspective of the parent (Andrew) and the son (Sam). Ironically enough, this is the same journey that McCarthy made himself over two decades ago.

The book also sheds light on the challenges (which include blisters, exasperation, and extreme weather conditions in Spain) and joys of parenting a child during his coming of age. It is a candid, raw, and honest account.

The syntax of the book is impressive, and it is filled with vivid imagery to the point where the reader will feel as if they are a part of the journey with them.

It is a book about parenting, reflection, and fostering harmony in human relations. A must for any avid travel book reader’s collection.

“Walking with Sam” by Andrew McCarthy is available on Amazon by clicking here. It garners an A rating.
