While activists are honing their non-violent, peaceful protest skills
and police are stocking up on tear gas and pepper spray,
PristineEarth.com is gearing up a team of reporters and photographers to
provide front-line coverage of the International Monetary Fund/World
Bank protests, to be held in Washington D.C. on April 16 and 17.
PristineEarth.com announced the coverage today, noting that it will
report on the event with a special focus on environmental activism and
issues.
PristineEarth.com is a committed grass-roots environmental news
organization, will feature on- the-scene hourly updates, as well as
audio and video interviews with key activists and IMF/World Bank
officials, where possible. The coverage of the event will be audio,
visual and text and began on April 13th.
With the World Trade Organization (WTO) Seattle protests in the
not-so-distant past, analysts on both sides of the issue are predicting
a high- energy event.
