Simonetta Lein chatted about her “Celebrity Media Personality” and “Influencer of the Year” wins.
How did it feel to win “Celebrity Media Personality” and “Influencer of the Year”?
It feels like finally, I got that big and reassuring tap on my shoulder that symbolizes “Good Job Simo.” It felt like my grandparents would be very proud and maybe they are watching over me from “up there.” When you get a recognition like this on a worldly scale it is always more than “just an award.”
It means remembering all of those moments when no one believed in you but your family. Sometimes they believed in me even more than I believed in myself. All that I have done to get to this point is the beautiful journey called life, which grounds you even more. Hard work always pays off.
What inspires you each day as a content creator?
I have to find a constant inner motivation, it comes with a vision of where I want to be and who I want to become, and how to always better myself. It is inner work, mental health is real, so I have learned to rest when tired instead of giving up. The journey is long and real, that is why it is a constant growth process in and out.
What is your advice for hopefuls who wish to go into the business, lifestyle, media, and fashion world?
Be ready to invest, in terms of time, dreams, and money, be ready to invest in yourself, and always work on your craft and your talents. I grew up with two very supportive parents who taught me the beauty of freedom and the ability to work to achieve what you want to accomplish.
I have worked in many jobs immediately after school and also in between to just be able to fund my dreams and to hire talented people to work with me. Teamwork makes the dream work and I always knew I had to have quality work and a top-notch team working with me.
What do your plans for the future include?
We are going to be releasing the 5th season of “The Simonetta Lein Show” very soon, and I think I am ready to become a mother, so I see children in my future.
Were there any moments that helped define you?
Moving to America from Europe, becoming an American as well, and making that American dream be an example for everyone who is still dreaming of a better future. Also, being recognized as one of the top influencers in the world as a fashion and media personality over the past few years, and now recently at the Cannes Film Festival via the World Influencers and Bloggers Award – WIBA. I was named the worldwide media personality and influencer of 2022. It is one of those “wow” defining moments.
If you were to have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation – I need to see my parents more often and they are in Europe. Cannes, France was so special as I saw them after 3 years of separation. As well I have too many events I should attend, and people I should meet. That superpower would truly help.
What does the word success mean to you?
It means dedication. Imagine a staircase in front of you and every success is a step done more toward becoming better. Better as a person, better as an artist. I would never want to continue to have success and become bitter because of all the slammed doors.
It did happen and still happens even at my level. Success means staying humble and staying in your lane, focusing on your goals, and never causing harm to others.
What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
Love you my dreamers, my fans, and supporters. You guys keep on saying I am your inspiration. That means so much. You guys know I have worked so hard and you recognize it.
It feels great as many things are unsaid and feel unseen, but you guys notice, and for this and much more I thank you and I love you. I totally recognize and appreciate you motivating me and pushing me to keep on wanting to do better .
