Video: ‘Peanuts’ official movie trailer

Video games have taken center stage this week because of E3 2015.

Focus on films has taken a proverbial backseat because of the media focus on what was going on at E3, where you may not have noticed a few trailers for the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Charles M. Schultz’s Peanuts.

Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy, and friends are hitting the big screen in early November.

Two trailers were recently released, where one focuses on Snoopy and the other focuses on Charlie Brown.

Snoopy’s trailer focuses on his imagination, where he uses his dog house as a makeshift fighter plane.

Peanuts fans obviously know that Snoopy’s personal storyline involves “flying” to Europe in order to defeat his archenemy, the infamous Red Baron.

Charlie Brown’s personal storyline should bring back memories to old school Peanuts fans.

The new kid moves into town and Charlie wants to make an impression, but royally bombs.

It’s obvious that the new student is the famous Little Red-Haired Girl, the subject of Charlie Brown’s romantic affections. The movie is obviously going to tell a different story compared to the old TV-movie special that centered on the same girl.

IMDb lists Noah Schnapp as Charlie Brown, Mariel Sheets as Sally Brown, Hadley Belle Miller as Lucy van Pelt, Alexander Garfin as Linus van Pelt, Noah Johnston as Schroeder, Rebecca Bloom as Marcie, and Venus Scultheis as Peppermint Patty.

This is the first time that Charlie Brown and gang will be in a full-length movie that is in 3D CGI rather than traditional 2D animation.
