Sting released the Super Deluxe version of his latest album “The Bridge,” and it is a must for all fans of Sting, The Police, and rock music.
It features six tracks that were recorded at the Pantheon, as well as “Por Su Amor”, the Spanish version of his song “For Her Love,” in duet with Latin American singer-songwriter KURT.
The new collection was mixed by Grammy winner Robert “Hitmixer” Orton. All of these additional recordings are an added treat, and they display his wide range as a singer, songwriter, and contemporary storyteller.
“The Bridge” consists of a wide spectrum of songs representing styles and genres that were explored throughout his respected music career. It was written and recorded in the early stages of the pandemic, and it was produced by Martin Kierszenbaum; moreover, it features Sting’s quintessential sound as he takes listeners on yet another musical journey.
To celebrate the release, Sting performed a private concert at the Panthéon in Paris as part of FIP’s 50th anniversary, under Foucault’s pendulum (pendulum installed in evidence of the earth’s rotation).
Sting is set to embark on the summer European leg of his “My Songs Tour,” which includes various music festivals, followed by his newly announced fall dates.
