Review: David Cook tips his hat to The Cranberries with ‘Dreams’ cover (Includes first-hand account)

This live performance was a part of #EatToTheBeat2018, which took place at the Walt Disney World in Florida. Cook and his band members honored the late Cranberries front-woman Dolores O’Riordan by covering their smash breakthrough single.

Cook’s rousing rendition of “Dreams” was raw, powerful and he nailed O’Riordan’s piercing high notes at the end of the song. He rocked the electric guitar and maintained great control over his voice. Overall, Cook made this song his own and proved that it is going to stand the test of time. His live version garnered an A rating.
