Actor Paolo Bernardini chatted about his new Hallmark movie “The Wedding Veil Inspiration.”

Terry Ingram directed it from a script by Betsy Morris, inspired by the book “There Goes the Bride” by Lori Wilde.

Aside from Bernardini, it stars Autumn Reeser, Alison Sweeney, Lacey Chabert, Carlo Marks, and Kacey Rohl. It premiered on Saturday, January 14, 2023, as part of the network’s “New Year, New Movies” programming event.

In the second movie of this sequel trilogy, Emma (Autumn Reeser) is sticking to her five year plan, as Paolo (Paolo Bernardini) prepares to open a lace shop in Chicago with his cousin Matteo (Carlo Marks).

“It was magical,” he said. “I enjoyed every single day on set and was blessed to work with wonderful people. It was my first time in Canada, an experience i will never forget.”

On track to assume a promotion to department chair, Emma feels strongly that things fall into place before she and Paolo can consider growing their family; however, Paolo worries that that day may never come.

When a crisis at home calls Paolo back to Italy, the couple must navigate busy schedules to make time for each other from afar.

Missing Paolo, Emma bumps heads with Nancy (Lynda Boyd), the current chair of her department and begins to question her life choices. Thankfully, she has frequent calls, texts and visits with Tracy (Alison Sweeney) and Avery (Lacey Chabert), who seem to know her better than she knows herself.

“Autumn is an excellent travel companion, both on a professional and personal level. A true force of nature, he said.

“Carlo Marks is a talented actor with whom I also shared many laughs off the set,” he added.

She also has a friend in her smart and quirky teacher’s aide, Lily (Kacey Rohl), who provides Emma with a novel opportunity to get people excited about art, but it might mean giving up everything she’s worked for.

Meanwhile, Emma cannot help but notice a spark between Lily and Matteo – who both happened to be touching the veil when they met. As Emma tries to get Lily to trust her heart, she must find the courage to stop planning her own dream life and start living it.

On being a part of the Hallmark family, Bernardini said, “Italians have a very special relationship with their family and being part of the Hallmark family is a very pleasant feeling, they made me feel at home from day one. I also thank all the fans for their support. Needless to say that without you all this would not have been possible.”

Regarding his plans for the future, he said, “I will soon start shooting a film. A film that I care a lot about since I created it together with two other friends. It was complicated but we did it. Then who knows, maybe you’ll see me soon in another Hallmark movie.”

He shared that his New Year’s resolutions for 2023 are “health, happiness and much love.” “I think they are three simple words but with enormous value,” he explained.

For fans and viewers, he concluded about “The Wedding Veil Inspiration,” “Fight for everything you believe in. Do not be afraid. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong. Ciao.”
