Young actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez has taken over the role of Spencer Cassadine on “General Hospital” on ABC. Digital Journal has the scoop.
The role of Spencer Cassadine was previously played by Nicolas Bechtel. Spencer is the son of Nikolas Casadine, who is portrayed by Marcus Coloma.
Thus far, Chavez has great chemistry with Sydney Mikayla (who plays Trina), and he is bound to work well with his onscreen father, the ever-talented Marcus Coloma, who has been killing the role of Nikolas Cassadine since he was cast in it, and has totally made it his own.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Coloma expressed his excitement to work with Chavez. “I like Nicholas a lot and there will be a lot of interesting stuff to play between Nikolas and Spencer that I’m looking forward to exploring,” he told the publication.
