Review: Scotty McCreery amazing at National Memorial Day concert (Includes first-hand account)

This event took place at the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on the National Memorial Day concert in Washington, D.C. McCreery was joined by the National Symphony Orchestra. “The Dash” was co-written by songwriters Kyle Jacobs and Preston Brust, and it is a track on his second studio album, See You Tonight.

His poignant live performance garnered a large round of applause, and rightfully so. It was nostalgic and heart-warming at the same time.

The Verdict

Overall, this performance was classic Scotty McCreery: raw, captivating and one that really tugged at the heartstrings. His vocal earned an A rating. Congratulations on a job well done.

McCreery’s new single “Five More Minutes” was released on iTunes earlier this month, and it is available by clicking here.
